⚠️ Important: This app uses a free, third-party AI model (OpenRouter) to power your Digital Sponsor. The messages you send — including anything you share about your life, struggles, or recovery — are transmitted over the public internet to that AI provider. This data is not private and could be exposed. Do not share information you would not want a stranger to read.

What we collect

A phone number and a 4-digit PIN you choose (used only to log you in).
Profile details you provide (name, addiction, triggers, goals, faith, sobriety start date).
Chat messages, check-ins, milestones, and any community posts you make.

How your data is used

To provide your Digital Sponsor chat, recovery tracking, and community features.
Messages are sent to the AI provider to generate a response. The provider may retain them per their own policy.
We do not sell your data. This is a ministry gift, not a business.

What we do NOT do

We do not require an email or real name.
We do not run paid advertising against your data.
We cannot guarantee confidentiality of anything you type into the chat.

Your responsibility

Please be mindful of what you share. For real emergencies — thoughts of self-harm, overdose, or danger — use the in-app 🚨 Help button or call 911 / 988. An AI is not a substitute for professional care, a sponsor, or the Church.
